Recently, Huron Digital Pathology had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Keith Kaplan at our office in Waterloo. Dr. Kaplan, who runs the Digital Pathology Blog, was recently awarded the “Digital Pathology Global Pioneer Award” by PathXL. We’ve met Dr. Kaplan a few times over the years at industry events, and he’s been a strong supporter of our work as well as in general for the digital pathology industry. So naturally, we were delighted when the opportunity came to show Dr. Kaplan our offices and what the local community has to offer.
It was great to spend time with someone who cares about the industry as much as we do. Kaplan was able to see our manufacturing line as well as sample some of the local flavor, which included fresh apple fritters and Myo-controlled prosthetic arms.
